MULDER concrete mixers, more then 45 years the best choice

The MULDER drum is a unique design which consists of a combination of separate components like:

  • Low center of gravity for better steering of the truck
  • Spare capacity in the contents of the drum for transport of lighter or thinner building mortal
  • Blade design with L-rims for excellent mixing, loading and unloading qualities

The outside of the mixing drum as well as the blades are made of 5 mm high tensile steel plate (quality st. 52.3) which has a high traction power and longwearingnes. The L-rims are made of (only in High Tech execution) the super-longwearing Domex Wear and the bottom of the mixing drum is covered with Hardox 400. These select materials are used to lengthen the service life of the mixing drum and ensuring that the MULDER drum not has to be replaced.

The backside of the MULDER concrete mixer attract attention because of it's tight lined steel plate construction without any additionals. Because of this construction, the MULDER concrete mixer is easy and quickly to clean and a big advantage in these days in which company vehicles are considered to be the showpiece of the company and these days in which the hourly rates are rising. If cleaning time can be reduced to two minutes, this can result in saving EUR 1000 per year per mixing truck, based on five trips a day and two hundred operating days.

The maintenance costs of a MULDER concrete mixer are very low due to the use of high quality materials and parts, which guaranties longer lasting and trouble free use of the concrete mixer.
The unique mixer frame is made of hot-rolled longitudinal beams which combine high strength with the required firmness and torque resistance. These beams are the foundations of the solid construed support for the planetary gearbox and the drum rollers in combination with a shenning strong joint for equal transfer of all forces on the truck chassis.

The MULDER drum rollers are from a solid design which means, cast iron with roller bearings and adjustable facility for longer lasting.

The drive of the mixers is done directly to the drum flange by means of a planetary reduction gearbox with special bearing system and quadrant link to compensate for movement of the drum shaft. The drive system hydraulic pump is driven through the PTO of the truck engine. The hydraulic motor and pump have axial pistons. The hydraulic pump has continuously variable output.

The platform is accessible by means of a solid ladder and safely due to the presence of a "kicking rim" and safety gauze which stands for maximum safety for the truck driver.
